I decided to attend The University of Chicago Law School because I knew
that it would provide the most intellectually challenging and thus rewarding
law school experience. Learning from the elite faculty and being surrounded
by other students up for the same challenge also attracted me to the school.
I like that the class sizes are small and provide for an intimate academic
experience where professors become well acquainted with students and their
ideas. The law school also attracts the attention of all vibrant legal
markets and The University of Chicago name is well respected in the profession
of law as well as other related fields. |

Hometown: Arlington, TX
Undergraduate Institution: Georgetown University
Undergraduate Major: Marketing & Management
Other Law School activities: BLSA Black History Month

Chicago Journal of International Law, Faculty Appointments Committee
Reason for attending The University of Chicago Law School:
I decided to attend the law school for various reasons. I found the smaller class
size to be extremely attractive. It really allows for a sense of community to
be developed, within the section, but also with the class as a whole. In addition,
I found everyone I interacted with to be incredible helpful and reasonable, and
this has continued even today. There are rules just for the sake of having rules.
Finally, I really enjoyed meeting the people here, and I have made great friends,
which made 1L year much easier to get through. |
