Use student outlines posted by BLSA and LexisNexis “capsule summaries” beginning early in each course.  This will save you briefing time, and will clarify material.  Don’t wait until the end of the quarter to get the big picture!

Always set aside some "me time" everyday where you don't think about the law. Find time to get out of Hyde Park and explore the city.

Besides wanting to receive a legal education for some of the best professors in legal academia, I feel in love with all that U of C had to offer. Not only am I able to get a great education, my classmates are also some of the most amazing individuals that I have ever met. While it was challenging to move so far away from home, I would trade my decision to attend U of C for the world.
Small piece of advice for incoming students:
Make sure that you keep a balanced life. You should always remember to set aside some time for yourself! Also, you should definitely start outlining as soon as possible and don't wait to the last minute to study. Cramming is something that you should NOT do in Law School.
